JAV.CC respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to valid notices of alleged infringement in accordance with applicable law, including the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains how to submit a takedown notice, what information it must contain, and how we handle it once received.

Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe content indexed on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a written notice to [email protected] that includes all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL or URLs on this site you want removed or disabled.
  4. Your full contact information, including name, address and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner behalf.

Our Response

Upon receiving a notice that satisfies these requirements, we will remove or disable access to the identified material promptly, typically within 48 to 72 hours of verification. Where appropriate, we may also notify the relevant distribution partner so that the underlying source can be addressed, not just our index entry.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. It should identify the material and its location before removal, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and provide your contact information and consent to the appropriate jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to refuse service to, or remove links associated with, sources that are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices. This policy helps protect rights holders and keeps the catalog trustworthy for all users.

Good-Faith Notices

Please submit notices in good faith. Knowingly material misrepresentations in a takedown or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under applicable law. If you are unsure whether your concern is a copyright matter, our Content Removal page covers other types of requests.
